Police Arrest 2 Following San Leandro Shootout
Two brothers were arrested in connection with the early morning shooting.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — Police in San Leandro on Wednesday arrested two people in connection with weapon and drug crimes. On Oct. 25 around 2 a.m., several witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots coming from two vehicles driving through the 300 to 600 block of MacArthur Boulevard, according to the San Leandro Police Department.
Responding officers located a disabled unoccupied vehicle that was riddled with bullet holes on the eastbound Interstate Highway 580 off-ramp. Investigators found a trail of bullet casings from high-powered weapon across the roadway and six pounds of marijuana inside the vehicle.
Police were able to identify the owner of the vehicle as Kyle Booth, 30. On Wednesday and he was located in Hayward while driving with his younger brother Kameron Booth, 27.

Police followed the vehicle to San Francisco, and the men were taken into custody without incident. Police said Kyle Booth was in possession of a loaded firearm, and both men were in possession of a large amount of cash.
Police located a pound of marijuana and a total of $43,000 in cash in the vehicle. Police later served a search warrant at the men's home in Hayward and found 180 pounds of marijuana, packaging materials, scales, transportation containers, four handguns, ammunition, high-capacity magazines, nearly $2 million, a counting machine and heat shrinking plastic
bags.
