Police Cars, Fire Trucks And More At East Bay Kids' Event

The hands-on, family-friendly "Touch-a-Truck" gets underway at a San Leandro park this weekend.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — The City of San Leandro Recreation and Parks is hosting a unique family-friendly event this Saturday called “Touch-a-Truck.”

From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in Stenzel Park, kids and their parents and caregivers will have the opportunity to explore city police cars, fire trucks and utility vehicles. The sensory-engaging event is free to attend.

“Kids can climb aboard, ... honk horns, push buttons, and let imaginations run wild in this hands-on family experience,” City of San Leandro officials said.

Stenzel Park is located at 15300 Wicks Blvd., San Leandro.
