San Leandro City Council, DA Recall Election Results 2024

Voters have also chosen a new representative for the Alameda County Board of Supervisors.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — Two of the four San Leandro City Council seats on the ballot Tuesday were contested. At 1 a.m. Wednesday, in District 2, Bryan Azevedo held a small lead over Ed Hernandez, 52-percent to 47-percent. In District 6, Dylan Boldt had a commanding lead over Robert Aguilar Bulatao.

Looking at the recall attempt of District Attorney Pamela Price, 64-percent of voters want her removed from office.

In the District 5 race for the Board of Supervisors, John J. Bauters holds a comfortable lead over Nikki Fortunato Bas.

As of September, the California Secretary of State reported that 22,310,352 Californians were registered to vote, which accounts for almost 82.92 percent of the state's eligible voting population.

In Alameda County, 950,534 residents are registered to vote, nearly 84 percent of all residents who are eligible. 59.3 percent of registered voters are Democrats, and 11.74 are Republican, a slight rise from 10.9 percent in 2022.

Alameda County has the fourth-highest percentage of Democrats in the state, behind San Francisco, Marin and Santa Cruz counties.
