San Leandro Asks Residents To Complete Community Prep Survey

The deadline to take the Survey is Aug. 31.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — San Leandro wants residents input to help update its Emergency Operations Plan, the city announced on social media last week.

In a posting on X, the social media site formerly known as Twitter San Leandro put the call out for residents to to complete a community preparedness survey.

Those who complete the survey will be entered to win a $50 Visa gift card the city said.

"Your input will help us gain greater awareness about our community’s disaster preparedness and response priorities and identify your concerns about disasters and opportunities to increase safety," the city said in the introduction to the survey. "Ultimately, your responses will help support updating an important City of San Leandro plan."

According to the city, the survey should only take five to 10 minutes to complete and responses will be considered as the city updates its Emergency Operations Plan which ensures the city, its residents and visitors are prepared for and responsive to various disaster threats.
