San Leandro Ice Cream Shops Named Best Of The East Bay

SAN LEANDRO, CA - Readers of Diablo Magazine named San Leandro's Loard’s Ice Cream as the runner-up favorite in its category in the “Best of the East Bay” 2023 voting.

It was chosen behind Lottie’s Creamery, located in Danville and Walnut Creek, lottiescreamery.com.

Loard’s, made here in San Leandro, has two locations in San Leandro, at 2000 Wayne Ave. and 699 Lewelling Blvd, loards.com.

Each year, Diablo Magazine asks its readers to vote on everything they like in the East Bay, from restaurants to museums to bars to barbershops. Editors weighed in too, adding a detailed description of their favorites in each of the many categories.
