San Leandro Public Library Looks To Fill Open Positions
Staffing vacancies leads to unplanned closures of Manor Branch, director says.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — San Leandro Public Library Director Brian Simons took to social media last week to put out the call for applicants to fill several open positions within his organization.
in the video, posted on the City of San Leandro's X page, Simons said that staffing vacancies had led to a few unexpected closings of the Manor Branch at 1241 Manor Boulevard.

"I ant to thank you for your patience and apologize for any inconvenience that may have caused," Simons said as he promised the library was "diligently" working to fill those open positions within the library system.

"We have four full time and three part time employment opportunities at the library right now," he said, adding that the jobs were currently or soon to be posted on the city's jobs website where interested parties could apply.
