San Leandro Restaurant Closes Permanently: Report
Noodles Pho Me has closed its doors over a rent hike, according to the report.
SAN LEANDRO, CA — A San Leandro restaurant that specialized in Lao-style pho has closed permanently, according to EaterSF.
Noodles Pho Me is searching for a new space, but operated at a loss during the pandemic, hurting the financial health of the business.
"Chef-owner Cindy Sengsourith said over email that they were unable to negotiate a new lease with the landlord, who was trying to raise the rent," the publication reports.
