San Leandro Woman Dies In Sacramento Area Flooding
The victim's body was found in floodwaters near a vehicle.
SAN LEANDRO, CA — A San Leandro woman — Mei Keng Lam, 57 — died in the Sacramento area when the Cosumnes River flooded. She is one of three people confirmed dead in the flooding that happened as a result of the New Year's Eve storm.

The Sacramento area was hit hard by flooding as levees burst and the Cosumnes spilled over its banks. Roads and even a highway were inundated.
