SEE: San Leandro Home Damaged In Early Morning Fire

Firefighters quickly knocked down the blaze, but there was significant damage.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — Alameda County firefighters worked quickly to knock down the flames of a San Leandro house fire before dawn Monday.

The fire was reported around 5:45 a.m. in the 1400 block of Navy Street, according to the Alameda County Fire Department. Firefighters arrived to find the garage engulfed in flames.

Firefighters made major headway in less than a half hour, but the garage was badly burned, photos show. Take a look at the damage below.
