Volunteers Make All The Difference On Coastal Cleanup Day: San Leandro
Join others for a good cause: sprucing up beaches and waterways in local parks.
SAN LEANDRO, CA — California Coastal Cleanup Day is the state's largest annual volunteer event. Every year, people help remove trash and plastic pollution at beaches and waterways in local parks.
This Saturday, San Leandro residents can head to Marina Park, at 14001 Monarch Bay Drive, for a "Beautify San Leandro" cleanup event from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
"This Coastal Cleanup Day, we’re not just picking up trash — we’re protecting ecosystems, preventing pollution, and standing with a worldwide community of changemakers," said City of San Leandro officials.
