Rain, Winds Could Continue Through Tuesday

Thunderstorms could also be in store late Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

After a week that ended in a small heat wave, the weather cooled down significantly Sunday and brought rain for Monday and possibly Tuesday.

“Showers and winds should taper off on Tuesday...but could
linger in the mountains,” the National Weather Service noted.

  • Today - Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 62. South wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
  • Tonight - Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 54. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming east southeast after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
  • Tuesday - A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 63. East wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south in the afternoon.
  • Tuesday Night - Partly cloudy, with a low around 52. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable in the evening.
  • Wednesday - Mostly sunny, with a high near 68. Light and variable wind becoming southwest 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.
  • Wednesday Night - Patchy fog after 11pm. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 54.
  • Thursday - Patchy fog before 11am. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 71.
