Caltrain Fatally Strikes Driver In Peninsula

BURLINGAME, CA — A Caltrain struck and killed a driver in Burlingame on Tuesday afternoon.

The collision took place around 4:35 p.m. in the area of west Broadway and Carolan Avenue, according to Caltrain and the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.

A northbound train with 145 passengers struck the vehicle at the Broadway grade crossing. No injuries were reported on the train, according to Caltrain.
