SAN MATEO, CA — The city's contractor will be installing a new underground sewer line for a playground's new restroom starting Monday in San Mateo.

Suarez and Munoz Construction will begin construction to install the sewer line between East 5th and 9th Avenue, causing temporary closures Sept. 8 through Sept. 12 on El Camino Real.

The San Mateo Police Department said this may cause temporary traffic congestion for both northbound and southbound drivers.
