Final Weekend For 'Seussical' Performances In San Mateo
The Pied Piper Players' community theatre production of "Seussical" has a handful of shows left at the Bayside Performing Arts Center.

SAN MATEO, CA — San Mateo families can check out the Pied Piper Players' rendering of "Seussical" through Sunday, put on by large a cast comprised of 70 young and local performers. Drawing from Dr. Seuss classics, the popular production follows Horton as his promise to guard an abandoned egg leads him on a wild adventure.
"We are thrilled to bring Seussical to Bay Area audiences of all ages," said Leslie Stupple, the group's artistic director. "One of the most important things we can learn in life is we are capable of doing more than we think we can. Seussical lets us know anything is possible if you believe in and work for it."
"Seussical" is the Burlingame-based theatre group's 42nd MainStage production, following its staging of Disney's "Descendants: The Musical" last fall. Organizers say the shows are designed to be welcoming and nurturing to audiences of all ages.
