BROADMOOR, CA — A Peninsula traffic stop on Tuesday led to the arrest of a probationer on suspicion of possessing burglary tools, Broadmoor police said.
The suspect, who is from Richmond, was booked into San Mateo County jail, police said.
An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that appeared suspicious, police said.

The officer searched the suspect’s vehicle after determining the suspect was on searchable probation terms, according to police.
Tools commonly used in vehicle burglaries and catalytic converter thefts were found during the search, police said.
