San Mateo Groups To Host Virtual Black History Month Dinner

The event on Friday is co-hosted by the San Mateo County Pride Center and African American Community Initiative.

SAN MATEO, CA — The San Mateo County Pride Center and African American Community Initiative are hosting their annual Black History Month 2022 Intergenerational Dinner on Friday featuring a former member of the Black Panther Party.

The event will feature interactive games about African American figures for a prize. There will also be a special presentation by Pamela Ward Pious, co-chair of the African American Community Initiative. Pious will share her experiences and community work the initiative does.
