2025 Toy Drives In San Rafael: Where To Donate

The holiday season is filled with joy, lights and celebration — but for some families, it can also bring stress and financial strain. Thankfully, communities like ours step up each year to help make the season brighter for every child.

Here are some places in and around San Rafael where you can donate toys, gift cards or holiday essentials to support kids and families in need this year. Be sure to reach out directly to each organization to confirm drop-off hours, deadlines and specific items they’re requesting — most drives ask for new, unwrapped gifts.

Toys for Tots – San Bruno (Serving the Bay Area & Marin Region)
🎁 In 2024, the San Bruno campaign distributed 46,493 toys and supported 33,305 children.📅 Donation Hours:

• Nov. 7–30: Mon–Fri, 9 a.m.–3 p.m. (Closed Nov. 23–27)
• Dec. 1–20: Mon–Fri, 9 a.m.–3 p.m.

📌 All toy collection boxes must be picked up by Dec. 15.

Adopt A Family of Marin — Holiday Program 2025

🎁 Provides families in Marin County wish-lists of gift ideas. Donors “adopt” a family, purchase at least three gifts per family member and drop off at the office. Gift cards to a local grocery store are included.

🎁 Accepts new, unwrapped toys at collection barrels located across San Rafael and nearby fire stations. Monetary donations (check only) are also accepted.

Multicultural Center of Marin Toy Drive
🎁 Collects unwrapped toys, books and gift cards for children from newborn to age 17 in Marin County.
