4K Without Power, Severe Thunderstorm Warning In Marin County
PG&E crews contended with dozens of unplanned outages Tuesday as forecasters braced for 70 mph wind gusts and thunderstorms.

MARIN COUNTY, CA — Thousands of customers were without power Tuesday afternoon in Marin County as multiple weather hazards descended on the North Bay.
As of 3 p.m., PG&E said nearly 4,000 customers were without power due to 65 unplanned outages in Marin County, including 1,400 without power in Tiburon and 1,350 impacted in unincorporated areas.
The National Weather Service expanded a severe thunderstorm warning to include San Rafael, Larkspur, Mill Valley and Tamalpais Valley, where forecasters warned wind gusts of up to 70 mph would be possible. The warning was set to expire at 3:30 p.m.

A flood advisory issued Tuesday morning was extended until 8 p.m. for some areas of the North Bay, and a broader flood watch will remain in place until Wednesday morning.
