California Approves Emergency Fire Resources For Marin County
The California Office of Emergency Services is placing fire resources in high-risk areas across the state as critical fire weather persists.
MARIN COUNTY — The California Office of Emergency Services is proactively placing fire resources in high-risk areas across the state as critical fire weather persists, the agency announced Tuesday. Cal OES has allotted critical fire engines and personnel across multiple counties to respond to fires, including across the Bay Area.
In Marin County, prepositioned fire resources include:
- 5 Local Government Engines
- 1 Local Government Water Tender
- 1 Local Government Helicopter
- 1 Local Government Dispatcher
