Marin Water Agency May Loosen Drought Restrictions: Report
A series of storms has boosted Marin's water supplies, but officials say residents need to adapt to a new normal.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — An idea that would have been unthinkable just 10 weeks ago is suddenly getting serious consideration.
After a series of atmospheric rivers unloaded on Marin, the county’s largest water agency is considering loosening of some water restrictions, The Marin Independent Journal reports.

But recent storms have boosted the MMWD’s water supply from less than a third in mid-October to 93 percent as of Thursday, the IJ reports.
Regardless of how the agency proceeds, Marin will have to adapt to a new normal, Board President Cynthia Koehler said.
