Suspect In Marin DUI Crash Arrested: CHP
A victim was taken to a local hospital with major injuries but is expected to survive, authorities said.

MARIN COUNTY, CA — A Marin man was arrested late Sunday night in connection with a three-vehicle suspected DUI crash that left a man seriously injured, the California Highway Patrol said.
George Buquich, 33 of San Rafael, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and hit and run, CHP officer Darrel Horner said.
Buquich was driving a Honda Fit northbound on Highway 101 at around 10:30 p.m. near Ignacio Boulevard when he collided with a truck, Horner said.

The driver of the truck exited the vehicle after the crash and was struck by another vehicle – a Honda Passport, Horner said.

The crash led to a brief closure of Highway 101 northbound, but the No. 1 and 2 lanes reopened within 30 minutes of the crash, Horner said.
