3 San Ramon Holiday Events This Weekend: Symphonic Band, Chorus, Food Drive
What to know about this weekend's seasonal offerings in San Ramon.
SAN RAMON, CA — Three holiday season events will be held this weekend in San Ramon.
The first is the San Ramon Symphonic Band's "Holiday Winds" concert. More than 35 musicians will perform at this family-friendly event held 7 p.m. Friday at the Dougherty Valley Performing Arts Center.
Kids 12 or younger are free. Get $9 general admission tickets online.

A contactless community food drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the San Ramon Community Center.
The following items are needed and will benefit Tri-Valley Haven and the Food Bank of Contra Costa & Solano.

- Natural peanut butter
- Whole grain cereals
- Low-sodium, hearty soups
- Beans and lentils, dry or canned
- Canned tuna and chicken in water
- Canned fruit in juice
- Non-perishable, low-sodium, ready-to-eat meals
- Low-sodium canned vegetables
- Brown rice
- Whole wheat or whole grain pasta
- Canned tomato products
- Gloves, socks, beanies in child and adult sizes.
Later that afternoon the San Ramon Community Chorus will host a free holiday concert with songs and dancer performances. Santa Claus will stick around for family photos.
The show will take place 3 p.m. at the San Ramon Community Center. Masks are required and anyone 12 years or older must show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within the past three days, per county guidelines.
