Art & Wind Festival: See Schedule, Parking

San Ramon's biggest annual festival will feature rides, puppet shows, music, professional kite flying, and even a helicopter landing.

SAN RAMON, CA — San Ramon is preparing for the Art and Wind Show, its largest event of the year that will take place Sunday and Monday.

The festival this year features fine arts and crafts vendors, three live entertainment stages, puppet shows, professionally choreographed kite-flying demonstrations, two festival food courts, family amusement zones, a sensory zone, free kite-making workshops, and even a helicopter landing.

Kite Flying Demonstrations: 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday and Monday near Field 1

Puppet Shows: 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. Sunday and Monday in the City Hall Rotunda

Interactive Kids' Areas: Free kite-making workshops, face painting, free crafts, and family-friendly performances will take place at the Alcosta Promenade and Terrace room Patio. Rides are in the parking lot adjacent to Field 5.

Helicopter Landing: A Coast Guard helicopter will land at approximately 1 p.m. Sunday on Field 4, adjacent to the Iron Horse Middle School track.

Parking: $10 a day, cash only at the Bishop Ranch 1 (6101 Bollinger Canyon Road), Bishop Ranch 3 (2603 Camino Ramon), Bishop Ranch 15 (126447-12677 Alcosta Boulevard), and Iron Horse Middle School (12601 Alcosta Boulevard.) ADA Parking is available at San Ramon City Hall and Iron Horse Middle School.

Free bike valet: Sports Basement of San Ramon is providing free valet parking. Bike to sports basement at 1041 Market Place, and receive a 20% coupon for store merchandise.
