Bah Humbug 5K Race Registration Deadline Approaching

SAN RAMON, CA — You have until Halloween to start thinking about your costume for the holiday run. Registration is open for San Ramon's annual costumed Bah Humbug 2025 5K Run/Walk & Kids Day, and tickets cost $35 until Friday. Registration costs $40 from Nov. 1 through Dec. 5, and $50 on race day.

The 5k will take place Saturday, Dec. 6 starting at the San Ramon Community Center. The Kids Dash, a 1K race for children ages 4-9, will start at 8:15 and end at the main finish line on Alcosta Boulevard in front of the community center. The Kids Dash is non-timed, but a clock at the finish line will tell each participant their results.

The chip-timed 5K run will begin at 8:30 at the community center, and run on a loop along Alcosta Boulevard, Norris Canyon Road, Camino Ramon, and Executive Parkway. Medals will be given to the first three challengers in each age division, and an awards ceremony will take place after the final age group winner crosses the finish line.

Participants are encourage to dress in holiday-themed costumes. Awards will be given for the costumes that are "Most Grinch-Like," "Best Holiday Spirit," and "Best Group Theme."
