Bah Humbug Race Coming To San Ramon

The annual event offers a run, walk, kid's race, and costume contest.

SAN RAMON, CA — It's that time of year again: the annual Bah Humbug 5K Walk & Kids Dash, sponsored by the City of San Ramon and Chevron.

The run and walk will take place at the San Ramon Community Center on Saturday, Dec. 7. The Kids Dash, which is open to children ages 4-9, will begin at 8:30 a.m. The course follows an approximately one-kilometer loop that starts and ends on Alcosta Boulevard in front of the community center. This event is non-timed.

The timed 5K races will start at 9 a.m. in front of the community center. There are two 5K races: one for adults 19 and over, one for youth 18 and under. Medals will be awarded to the first three finishers in each age division. Participants will also receive a holiday long-sleeved shirt and the Bah Humbug Ornament.

Participants can also participate in a costume contest. Awards will be given in the following categories: Most Grinch-Like, Best Holiday Spirit, and Best Group Theme and Best Dog Costume.
