SAN RAMON, CA —Del Amigo High School, an alternative continuation high school in San Ramon, was recognized as a 2025 Model Continuation High School by the California Department of Education, according to the San Ramon Valley Unified School District.

The designation was awarded to 74 schools across California that help at-risk and non-traditional students graduate and succeed. The staff uses trauma-informed practices to enhance students' emotional well-being and offer a variety of instructional approaches to support all learning styles. The school aims to prepare students for life beyond high school by providing access to counseling and mental health services.
