DSRSD appointed contractor and former board member Edward Duarte to the District 2 seat, representing southwest San Ramon.

SAN RAMON, CA — The Dublin San Ramon Services District swore in Edward Duarte to serve as the representative for Division 2, representing southwest San Ramon.

The seat has been vacant since August, when former Director Anne Marie Johnson resigned following her retirement. On Sept. 9, the board voted to fill the vacancy by direct appointment.

Duarte, who served on the DSRSD board from 2012 to 2020, will serve the second half of the remaining four-year term through December 2026. The next election for the District 2 seat will be in November 2026.
