SAN RAMON, CA — The holiday festivities continue in San Ramon with a Holiday Soiree Sunday at the Front Row Theater.

On Dec. 15 at 7 p.m., actors will participate in a live reading of a holiday story, with some props, minimal costumes, and furniture. "Imagine a space where professional actors, script in hand, breathe life into characters right before your eyes, without the need for memorized lines," the Shakespeare & Performing Arts Regional Company (SPARC) said in its description.

"It’s not quite the full-blown theater production and it’s so much more than mere storytelling. It’s a unique hybrid where poignant prose meets passionate performance, all lightly staged to spark your imagination and kindle your spirit...The focus is on the power of the prose, delivered by voices that resonate and stir the soul."
