Juried Art Exhibition, Mosaic Mural Unveiling Coming To San Ramon
A new exhibit of local artists is opening Friday, and participants will be able to cast votes for their favorite piece of art.
SAN RAMON, CA — The Visual Arts Society of San Ramon is sponsoring its second annual Juried Art Exhibition "Nature's Whispers," which will open Friday at the Dougherty Station Community Arts Center.
This year's exhibition drew over 100 entries, and a jury chose 50 works to be featured. The art features a broad variety of artistic styles and mediums, but all are inspired by the beauty and diversity of the natural world.
For the first year, visitors will be able to cast votes for their favorite artwork using an onsite ballot box. The winner of the People's Choice Award will be announced during the Artist Reception, which will take place Friday from 5-7 p.m.
