CHP Pursuit Ends In Crash On I-580
The pursuit started in the area of Alcosta Boulevard and southbound Interstate Highway 680. At least one person was detained.

DUBLIN, CA — All lanes of westbound Interstate Highway 580 just west of the junction with Interstate Highway 680 have reopened this morning following a pursuit and a solo-vehicle crash, according to the California Highway Patrol. The CHP said the collision was reported around 4:15 a.m.
The pursuit started in the area of Alcosta Boulevard and southbound Interstate Highway 680 before the vehicle crashed. At least one person was detained and minor injuries were reported as of 4:20 a.m.
A light pole was temporarily blocking lanes. The lanes were scheduled to reopen by 4:45 a.m. No further information is immediately available.
