The festivities will include music, food, family-friendly games, and a number of student performances.

SAN RAMON, CA — The community is invited to ring in the Year of the Snake with Quail Run Elementary School's 14th annual Lunar New Year Celebration, an evening of cultural festivities and interactive fun.
The celebration will take place Friday at 5 at Quail Run Elementary School in San Ramon. It will feature student performances, including Mandarin songs, lion dances, kung fu demonstrations, and traditional flagging displays. Guests will also be treated to authentic night-market snacks, family-friendly games, and auctions to support the school.
“The celebration promises to be so much fun and offer something for everyone,” said Quail Run Principal Bassant Abdelrahman, who helped organize the celebration with staff, parents, high school volunteers, community partners, and students in the school's Mandarin program. “It’s a unique opportunity to bring our community together to experience the beauty and richness of a cherished tradition.”
