San Ramon Air Force Concert Canceled
The Air Force canceled its planned show at the Dougherty Valley Performing Arts Center.
SAN RAMON, CA — The United States Air Force Band of the Golden West canceled its planned Monday performance due to undisclosed health reasons, according to the city.
The band, comprised of local veterans and service members, was due to play patriotic tunes at 7 p.m. Monday night at the Dougherty Valley Performing Arts Center. The city said it would let the community know if the band reschedules to a later date.
The community can still enjoy patriotic music Thursday at its Fourth of July Celebration Concert at the Central Park Amphitheater. The Three Queens of Soul band will begin with music from Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, and Diana Ross, which will be followed by patriotic music at Olympia Fields. Food and drinks will be available for sale.
