San Ramon Christmas Tree Pickup Planned This Week

SAN RAMON, CA — Get a real Christmas tree this year? Be sure to leave it on your curb this week.
The 2021 Boy Scouts Annual Christmas Tree Pickup was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Christmas tree pickup began Monday in San Ramon and will continue through Friday on your regularly scheduled pickup day.
Trees will be composted, so don't forget to remove lights, decorations, tree stands and leave your tree unwrapped. If it's taller than six feet, cut it in half, the city said.

Artificial trees are not accepted. Flocked trees are accepted, but will not be composted, the city said.
