SRVUSD Elementary Schools Named California Distinguished Schools

A San Ramon elementary school, and three in Danville, were honored by the state for academic excellence and positive school climate.

SAN RAMON, CA — Neil A. Armstrong Elementary School in San Ramon was one of 336 elementary schools across the state and six in the Tri-Valley to be named as a 2025 California Distinguished School, the California Department of Education announced. John Baldwin, Greenbrook, and Creekside elementary schools in Danville were also honored.

The CDE selected elementary schools based on their performance on criteria indicated on 2024 Dashboard, which include academic excellence, ensuring a positive school climate, and closing the academic achievement gap.
