San Ramon To Host Memorial Day Ceremony, Field Of Flags
The ceremony will feature patriotic music, remarks, and the opportunity to place a flag in memory of veterans or fallen service members.

SAN RAMON, CA — San Ramon will honor fallen service members with a Memorial Day Program at San Ramon Memorial Park on Monday, May 26 at 9 a.m. The roughly hour-long ceremony will feature patriotic music performed by Olympia Fields Brass, songs from San Ramon Academy of Music student Saee Ghate, and remarks from city officials and veterans groups.
Guests will also be able to place a flag in the Commemorative Field of Flags at Memorial Park, a temporary memorial to fall service members or deceased veterans. Guests are invited to place a flag in the field between 8:30 to 10 a.m. Complete this form if you would like city staff to place a flag for you. Flags will remain in the field until 4 p.m. Monday, when they will be removed. If you would like to remove your own flag, you can do so between 3 and 4 p.m. Monday.
