San Ramon Patch Seeking New Editor

San Ramon Patch will be hiring a new editor in the coming weeks.

After more than a year leading the site, has decided to step down so she can travel overseas and spend time visiting family.

East Bay Patch Associate Regional Editor will serve as interim editor, with some assistance from occasional guest editors.

We'll be looking for a versatile online journalist to help us continue toward our goal of being an indispensable community platform not only for news but for connecting with neighbors, learning about local businesses and finding out about hometown events.

While the editor of every Patch site plays a key role, so do our readers. The Patch experiment in community journalism needs you, too!

Because we can't be everywhere at once, we rely on readers to send us story tips, add calendar events and announcements and even upload photos or videos. You can even write your own Patch blog — no professional experience required.
