San Ramon Residents Asked To Complete Quality Of Life Survey
The survey aims to figure out what residents most want from their government.

SAN RAMON, CA — San Ramon residents are asked to fill out an anonymous survey regarding quality of life and resident priorities. Respondents are asked to rank the importance of public safety, transportation, neighborhood integrity, libraries, affordable housing, senior & youth services, parks, and other items they find important. The survey helps let city officials know which costly projects residents want them to prioritize.
“Mindful of our goals to maintain both excellent service and financial stability, we are prioritizing maintaining existing service levels, minimizing impact to General Fund
reserves, and preserving infrastructure maintenance funds,” City Manager Steven Spedowfski said in a letter to residents.
“Even so, revenue growth has not matched the growing cost of providing City services, and many Capital Improvement Projects (CIPs) continue to remain unfunded. To guide City decision-making, we have identified a set of essential quality-of-life indicators. The City is working hard to address these priority needs. We are exploring options to address City needs responsibly and with community support.”
