San Ramon Valley HeartSafe Members Teach CPR at the Capital
Community members visited the state capital to teach the proper use of CPR and AED on Thursday.
The San Ramon Valley HeartSafe Community Program taught 75 people the life saving skill of hands only CPR and proper use of an AED at the state capital on Thursday.
The HeartSafe Community team included community members, fire district staff, and the emergency coordinators from San Ramon and Danville.
It was part of the Go Red event at the capital, which was organizied by the Legislative Women's Caucus and the American Heart Association to raise awareness about the threat about the No. 1 killer in women, heart disease.
