“Having friends who are no longer here, I’ve seen the hurt that it has caused for their families; so, the goals of the Blue and Gold Star Moms are very dear to me personally,” said Ian Schuster, president and CEO of Schubros Brewery. “Schubros is honored to offer our time and our beer – which is just a small token of our support -- to these worthwhile organizations."

Working with blue and goldstar moms, Schubros will be participating as a donor, sponsor and volunteer, offering its products and time to help out at various fundraising events. This includes a Gold Star reception to honor California’s fallen heroes and support the families left behind.
“We are delighted to partner with Schubros Brewery,” said Luisa Oriti, president of East Bay Blue Star Moms. “Companies like Schubros make it possible for us to bring events like our Parents Weekend – the only one of its kind in California -- to our members and their families. It’s inspiring to work with veterans who continue to be of service through their support of our programs, which are invaluable to our community."
Blue Star Moms is a non-profit organization for mothers of sons and daughters who are veterans or currently serving in all branches of the Armed Forces of the United States. Located in Danville, the organization has members from all over Contra Costa and Alameda Counties.
Guided by three core values – community, responsibility and quality, Schubros says its committed to preserving the purity of its brands, investing in green technology and using all-natural and organic ingredients. Schubros Brewery plans to participate in community events, hire locally and give one percent of its core-brand sales to worthy organizations in San Ramon and the Tri-Valley including area schools, parks and wildlife and environment preservation groups.
