'Truck Time' 2023 Brings Over 35 Special Vehicles To San Ramon

This Saturday, families are welcome to explore everything from antique trucks to contemporary garbage trucks to old Corvettes.

SAN RAMON, CA — There’s one time of the year where you can see a 1940 station wagon, a 1900s antique truck, and an army truck all in one spot: Truck Time.

The annual event featuring over 35 trucks and vehicles and over 1500 participants is scheduled for Saturday at 2700 Camino Ramon, across the street from City Center. The interactive family festival encourages children to explore vehicles they might see all around them, like police cars and garbage trucks, and unique cars they might never have seen before. All vehicles are submitted by volunteer individuals and organizations.

The event will take place Saturday, April 29 from 9-1. Families can also enjoy a stilt walker, magician, traffic cone and tire stacking event, egg race, ring stack race, “Which Shape Goes Where” race, temporary tattoos, toy truck play areas, coloring, bean bag toss, and more.

Tickets cost $7 per person at the door. Proceeds will benefit the Dougherty Valley/San Ramon Rotary Club, the Dougherty Valley/San Ramon Rotary Club Foundation, the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation, and the San Ramon Historic Foundation.
