Video: Former Mayor Wilson Warns Walmart Market Could Impact Small Businesses
Former mayor H. Abram Wilson and councilwoman Carol Rowley were honored at the City Council meeting Tuesday night.
After being recognized by the City Council for his years of service to San Ramon, H. Abram Wilson thanked friends, family and staff for helping him along the way.
The speech was almost completely apolitical at Tuesday night, but Wilson did touch on one of the most talked about issues currently in town — Walmart.
Walmart is in San Ramon. It would move into 55,000-square-foot vacant space in the Country Club Village Shopping Center and could open as soon as the end of the year.
