Widening Project At Crow Canyon Road Begins, Delays Expected
Drivers are encouraged to use different routes.

SAN RAMON, CA — Heads up San Ramon drivers. Construction for the Crow Canyon Road Widening Project between Alcosta Boulevard and St. George Road started Monday.
“There will be a construction speed limit of 30 MPH enforced along Crow Canyon Road within the construction zone and travel will be restricted to one lane in each direction,” the city said.
Drivers are encouraged to use alternative routes.

An additional travel lane in each direction of Crow Canyon Road between Alcosta Boulevard and St. George Road will be added, according to the project description listed on the city’s website.

- ADA upgrades, crosswalk consolidation and converting the sidewalk on the north side into a walking path
- Widened bike lanes with buffers and green conflict zone striping
- Drought-tolerant landscaping
