Bodies Found In Santa Cruz Co. Creeks ID’d: Report

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA —The bodies of two men found in Santa Cruz County creeks last week have been identified, The Santa Cruz Sentinel reports.

The cases are unrelated and foul play is not suspected in either of the deaths, the report said.

The body of a man found Dec. 22 partially submerged in Carbonera Creek in Scotts Valley was identified by the county’s Coroner’s Office as Zhigang Han, 24 of Scotts Valley, the report said.

Rescue swimmers the next day recovered the body of Adrik Tibbs, a 29-year-old homeless man, the report said.
