Clouds, Cormorants And Surfers: Photos Of The Day

A chilly morning in Santa Cruz was captured in early spring.

SANTA CRUZ, CA — Photographer Hayden took these Santa Cruz photos on the west side as the sun was rising, and later on the east side.

The photos were all snapped on Mar. 25 of this year.

"The air was chilly but not much wind, the pelicans were flying a couple of feet above the water in formation, the Cormorants took a break and a nap on a tree at the hook on the east side and the surfers were finding a few nice waves."
