The 3rd Annual Trivia Challenge takes place on Friday, September 23, 2011 at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium with Dale Julin from KSBW TV as our Master of Ceremonies. All proceeds benefit the Literacy Program of Santa Cruz County. Last year’s event was a rousing success and we hope to see you this year!
The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with live music, delicious hors d’oeuvres and desserts, and no host wine & beer served at the Elephant Seal Bar for all teams and spectators. You will want to buy raffle tickets throughout the evening to win terrific prizes!
The formal program and contest begin at 7:30 p.m. The Trivia Challenge involves teams of three persons each competing against each other answering a wide variety of questions. Spectators are given pads and pencils so that they can play along while they cheer for the teams.
Throughout the evening, guests will be able to visit the Literacy Program display table to learn how this valuable program benefits Santa Cruz County and how they can become involved as volunteers or benefactors.
