That's Fishy: 'Live Shark' Reported On Highway 1 In Santa Cruz County?
California Highway Patrol arrived to find the initial report wasn't exactly what it seemed.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — Shark sightings do occur from time to time in Santa Cruz County. But it is, perhaps, a bit strange to see one on the Cabrillo Highway.
The California Highway Patrol received a fishy report this week when a commuter near Surf City called in to report a "live shark" on the freeway.
CHP headed to Capitola and found the culprit near the exit for Bay Avenue and Porter Street: a plastic shark toy.
