Major Highway 1 Connector Closed For Construction
The construction is expected to wrap-up on Thursday.

SANTA CRUZ, CA — The loop onramp to southbound state Highway 1 at westbound 41st Avenue will be closed for construction from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Thursday, the Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission said.
The eastbound 41st Avenue onramp to southbound Highway 1 will remain open.
Northbound and southbound auxiliary lanes and bus-on-shoulder improvements are being made to the highway between the 41st Avenue and Soquel Drive interchanges, the commission said.

In addition, an overcrossing at Chanticleer Avenue will provide an alternative route for bicyclists and pedestrians currently using the Soquel or 41st interchanges to cross over Highway 1, according to the commission.
