Man Accused Of Stabbing At Depot Park
Lorenzo Alex Silva, 30, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, according to the Santa Cruz Police Department.

SANTA CRUZ, CA — Police in Santa Cruz on Wednesday arrested a man in connection with a stabbing at a park earlier this week. Lorenzo Alex Silva, 30, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, according to the Santa Cruz Police Department.
The victim reported being at Depot Park on Tuesday with their child when the assault occurred.
Police said Silva confronted the victim, asked if the victim knew a woman who was also at the park and then struck the victim. Silva fled the area, and the victim realized they had been stabbed
in the arm, police said.
The victim drove to the hospital for treatment and was later able to identify Silva as the suspect in the incident through online booking photos. Silva, who is on probation, was later located and taken into custody.
