Man Killed In Santa Cruz County ATV Crash
The accident happened on private land Monday evening.
SANTA CRUZ, CA — A 34-year-old Los Gatos man died Monday after being involved in a wreck on an all-terrain vehicle at a residence in an unincorporated area of Santa Cruz County.
James Richard Jatho was riding the ATV at about 6 p.m. at a residence on Mar Vista Court near Highland Way when the vehicle reversed for a reason yet to be determined and crashed into a retaining wall, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The ATV overturned and left Jatho with major injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
