Missing Santa Cruz County Man Found Safe
He left his home to run errands Wednesday but didn't return home.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office said a local man who did not return home after leaving to run errands Wednesday has been found safe.
A caller reported his location and the man was on his way home, the sheriff's office said.
The sheriff's office believed he may have been in the Santa Cruz area.

He left his home in the 5600 block of Empire Grade Road around 8:45 a.m. Wednesday to catch a bus for Westside Santa Cruz, the sheriff's office said. He was walking and may have been headed to the West Cliff Drive area or New Leaf Market on Mission Street.
He had not been heard from since he made a phone call at a payphone in the 700 block of Ocean St. around 5:45 p.m.
